Mae Mobley's Mom is having a boy! Also, Minny quit for a while but soon after she started the interviewing thing again. I predict that no one will ever quit again.

Mae Mobley's mama is going to have another baby! Since she never pays any attention to Mae in the first place, now that she  has another baby, Mae won't get any attention at all. I predict that she will still get lots of attention from Abaleen.

The lady that is interviewing Abaleen and Minny actually is going to stay at the restaurant but will just have dessert. I predict that the person that owns the restaurant will change his mind and serve them real food.

Cool ice cream recipie

Here is an ice cream making recepie that I found on the internet! Hope that you make it & I hope that you enjoy it!

Ingredients:

I cup of milk or half 'n' half

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp granulated sugar

extras: chocolate syrup, fresh fruit, crumbed cookies, jam, etc. 

Materials:

1 gallon ziplock bag

1 quart ziplock bag

1 sandwich ziplock bag

1/2 cup rock salt

enough salt to fill the gallon ziplock bag at least half way

tape

spoon

DIRECTIONS:

Mix all the ingredients into the sandwich sized baggie.  

"Lock" the sandwich bag and then tape it shut.  

Place the sandwich bag into the quart sized baggie.  

Put the quart sized baggie into the gallon sized bag.  

Add ice so that it fills the gallon bag at least half way (more is okay).  

Add the rock salt to the ice.  

Seal the gallon sized bag.  

Shake the bag for 5-15 minutes.  

HINT: The longer you shake the more "solid" your ice cream will be. Remove the sandwich bag from the two other bags and enjoy!

WHY ADD SALT to the ICE?

Salt actually lowers the freezing point of water, which melts the ice in the bag so its no longer a solid but it is still 32 degrees creating ice water.  The water covers more surface area of the bags inside the gallon bag (than the solid ice would) and makes it cool the ice cream ingredients faster and ore evenly so they turn in to ICE cream faster.

The lady that is interviewing and Abaleen Minny is going on a date! The person that owned the place though said that they could only stay for dessert because they were closing soon. I predict that they will go to a different restaurant and have a good date. o :

They got Minny to tell the lady her stories! They are planning to get it published in January. They are also planning to interview 10 other maids that are African American so that they have a larger chance of getting it published. I predict that they will be able to get it published by January and that it will be a very good book.

Abaleen is getting interviewed by sometime. She is getting interviewed because the lady that is interviewing her will try to take it to New York to get it published. She is doing it secretly because it is illegal. I predict that she will get it published.

Minny's boss has finally agreed that she will start doing something by getting cooking lessons from Minny. I predict that soon she will be doing more things like going shopping and that she will also be a good cook.

Minny's boss is starting to get weird. She is staying around the house a lot and just sitting in her bed. She is not sick, but she lies and says that she is just resting. Minny's daughter is also starting to get very rude. She is yelling and screaming all the time : I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is very bad. I predict that she will get better and that Minny's boss will start going outside to make friends.
