I thought that this poem was very funny and that is actually IS worth it and fair AND funny! So here it is and I hope that you enjoy it!

I'm making my brother my personal slave,
so now when I greet you my brother will wave.
He'll do all my homework; he'll take all my tests.
He'll clean up my messes and wait on my guests.

He'll hold out my hanky whenever I sneeze.
He'll say that he did it if I "cut the cheese."
He'll go take a bath if I play in the dirt.
He'll eat all my spinach, then feed me dessert.

He'll empty the garbage and vacuum the floors
and finish my other unsavory chores,
like washing the dishes and mowing the yard
or anything else even modestly hard.

I really enjoy all the effort I save
by making my brother my personal slave.
And though I'll admit how exciting it is,
I'm not sure it's worth it, 'cause next week I'm his.

Blog Log : I went to the barber

I thought that this poem was very funny because he probably wanted just make people laugh and that he probably isn't dead or else this poem wouldn't  be here! :( Here it is and I hope you enjoy it!

I went to the barber.
He cut off my hair,
which would have been great,
but he didn't stop there.

He slipped with his scissors.
He snipped with his shears,
and cut off my eyebrows
and both of my ears.

I jumped in my seat
causing several more slips;
he cut off my nose
and my cheeks and my lips.

With one final slip-up
he cut off my head,
and that is the reason
I ended up dead.

So kids, if your dad tells you,
"You need a trim,"
just pull out this poem
and show it to him.

As soon as he reads this,
I'm willing to bet,
that that's the last haircut
that you'll ever get.

I thought that this poem was very funny

A candy bar.
A piece of cake.
A lollipop.
A chocolate shake.

A jelly donut.
Chocolate chips.
Some gummy worms
and licorice whips.

A candy cane.
A lemon drop.
Some bubblegum
and soda pop.

Vanilla wafers.
Cherry punch.
My mom slept in
while I made lunch.

Blog Log:I taught my cat to clean my room.

I thought that this poem was very funny except I actually think that it is a fair because the cat has                doing more work then the person. here it is and I hope that you enjoy it.

I taught my cat to clean my room,
to use a bucket, brush and broom,
to dust my clock and picture frames,
and pick up all my toys and games.

He puts my pants and shirts away,
and makes my bed, and I would say
it seems to me it's only fair
he puts away my underwear.

In fact, I think he's got it made.
I'm not as happy with our trade.
He may pick up my shoes and socks,
but I clean out his litterbox.

Blog Log : Persepolis 2

Marji still feels like she should get a divorce! They argue every day until one day, The professor gives them an assignment to make a diorama explaining a theme park based on ancient times.

Blog Log : My sister says shes sleepy

I thought that this was a very funny poem because she probably isn't actually tired and that she just dosent want to do her chores. Here it is and I hope that you enjoy it!
My sister says she's sleepy,
that her energy is sapped.
She says she'd feel much better
if she climbed in bed and napped.

She says she she feels so drowsy,
that she has to shut her eyes.
She just can't keep from closing them
no matter how she tries.

She's claims she's so exhausted
that she cannot stay awake.
She swears that she'll be useless
till she has a little break.

She says she needs to catch some Z's,
to hit the hay, to doze,
to hibernate, to dream,
to have a moment of repose.

I'm pretty sure she's faking
when she jumps in bed and snores.
This happens every time our mother
says to do her chores.

Blog Log : I'm not picky

I thought that even though he says that he isn't picky, he really is because the only type of
food he likes is mac 'n cheese. Here it is and I hope that you enjoy it!

I'm not picky.
I'm not rude.
Why, I'll eat any
kind of food.
Except for foods
called "beets" or "greens."
Or "beef." Or "beans."
Or "tangerines."

I won't eat foods
called "fish fillets."
Or "pies." Or "fries."
Or "mayonnaise."
Or "grapes." Or "crepes."
Or "chicken wings."
Or "clams." Or "hams."
Or "onion rings."

Or anything
called "baked" or "stewed."
Or "boiled" or "broiled."
Or "barbecued."
Or "dried" or "fried."
Or "smoked" or "steamed."
Or "roasted," "toasted,"
"mashed," or "creamed."

No, I'm not picky.
I'm not rude.
Why, I'll eat any
kind of food,
and ask for more
and then say, "Please."
As long as it's called
"mac and cheese."

Blog Log : I love to do the laundry

I thought that this poem was very funny. Even though he says that he accidentally washed his dad's wallet, I think that he did it on purpose. Here it is and I hope that you enjoy it.

I love to do the laundry.
I mean it. I don't mind
because I get to keep
whatever money I might find.

I know it sounds ridiculous.
I'm sure it must seem strange.
But every time I wash the clothes
I find some pocket change.

I found a dollar yesterday.
Today I found a ten.
I'm certain that tomorrow
I'll find money once again.

You see, I have a strategy.
(I guess that's what you call it.)
And sometimes I just  accidentally
wash my father's wallet.

But when they went to see the professor, he said that they can not go on because the women are not dressed with a veil on. I predict that soon she will find another dagree and accomplish in it.

Blog Log : Persepolis 2

Since Marji has gotten her degree as well as her boyfriend, that means that they have to go to France in order to keep going. Unfortunately, they can't go unless they are married! They do get married because they think that they will marry soon.
